Comb jelly: Beroe Cucumis, or as we call them, sea gooseberries. We saw plenty of these in the waters around Ramsey today, which means the water is starting to warm up and the plankton is starting to bloom. Comb jellies actively feed on plankton, moving by beating the plated that make up the combs on their bodies. As they beat the plates, they refract light leading to the colours of the rainbow running up and down their bodies. Quite cool little jellies #AWildlifeExperience
