We specialise in offering a range of bespoke trips where we often team up with local experts to provide a truly unique experience.
Private charter rates start at £230 per hour and tuition/storytelling and food is additional.
Duration: 2 -3 hrs
Join us for a dedicated wildlife photography trip especially designed with the needs of photographers in mind. This trip provides you with a unique opportunity to spend time observing and photographing a great variety of wildlife and the dramatic coastline of the Pembrokeshire Islands.
These trips are available with or without tuition and are suitable for beginners up. Professional photographer Janet Baxter can accompany us, giving advice on how to make the most of your trip with advice on the special challenges that come with photographing moving objects from a moving boat in ever changing light conditions. Janet knows the area well and specialises in marine wildlife and landscape photography.
Sit amongst the shearwaters at sunset and capture their effortless flight as they skim the surface of the water, capture seals basking on rocks or try your hand at photographing our harbour porpoise, a challenge for amateur and professional alike.
We have teamed up with award winning authors and illustrators Jackie Morris (of Lost Words fame) and Nicola Davies, to bring you these 2 unique different trips…
Bring a note book and find inspiration for your writing from the stunning coastal landscape and rich maritime heritage. This is an informal water based workshop with Nicola Davies
Immerse yourselves in the land of the Selkies and mermaids as you are transported to islands, both real and mythical, with spellbinding storytelling from Nicola Davies (award winning author) or Jackie Morris (award winning author and illustrator). As you watch the seals play, hear of a silver selkie who takes a human husband or a boy whom the sea loves too much. As birds fly overhead, go in search of mythical white ravens from both story and history and travel to new lands.
These are more specialist trips with limited availability.
Let us create a truly memorable trip for your special occasion, be it a family celebration, special birthday or wedding anniversary, engagement or proposal. We can take you to a destination with a difference, even provide a picnic hamper for that extra special treat and allow you to sit amongst the wildlife, soak up the scenery or just enjoy the sunset from the sea.
Gather a group of friends and see some of Ramsey’s wildlife before heading off to enjoy a sunset supper at sea whilst watching the shearwaters glide by on their return home. We will provide a locally made picnic hamper of culinary delights. We have teamed up with 3 local chefs to provide delicious picnics using sustainable, locally produced or foraged food. Award winning chef Andy Holcroft from the Grub Kitchen can make a delicious feast with or without bugs; Tara, who is teamed up with Car Y Mor, will incorporate seaweed and seafood, and Julia Horton-Powdrill, and her team from the Really Wild Emporium restaurant, will provide an exciting spread incorporating locally foraged delights. All of our chefs can cater for vegetarian/vegan and allergies.
We are regularly asked to carry out the scattering of ashes. If your loved one had a favourite area of the coastline, cared for marine animals or just loved the sea, we can take you out and allow you time to sit, reflect and say goodbye to them.
Alternatively, charter the boat with skipper and crew and create your own trip or let us create one for you tailored specifically to your interests.
All of these trips are better suited to a private charter. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and to book.

We booked a private charter which was skippered by Ffion Rees who is fabulously knowledgeable about the local Pembroke seas and animal life. She and her crew made sure that we enjoyed the charter and were a source of fascinating information. The 2.5 hour trip took us past hundreds of puffins fishing on the sea and out to Grassholm Island which is a major gannet colony. None of us will ever forget seeing that island and those thousands of birds. Seals played or basked around Grassholm and the lighthouse on Smalls. On the way back to shore we were joined by a school of dolphins and Ffion encouraged them to stay with us so that we got really good views of them and their behaviour
Private Charter
It looks like the other reviews have covered it but to add Fifon and Georgie are the dream team, informative and knowledgeable about all aspects of the island, skipper Fifon made us feel totally safe and confident with her mariner skills and Georgie a delight to listen to her wealth of information. I can not recommend this trip enough, if you can ‘push the boat out’ to a private charter then it’s even better. Thanks Ffion and Georgie!!
We chartered a RIB for 3 of us – what a trip! Saw everything promised. Thank you Falcon Boats! Highly recommended…
